Wrangler has finally found a way to appeal to both the younger, fashion-loving generation and its more traditional Western-gear focused customer. Introducing Icons, which are recreations of the brand’s original rodeo styles.
Recognizing that vintage styles appeal to the current young generation and that their core customer rides horses, Wrangler has reissued styles from its legendary denim archive to create the Wrangler Icons collection. The styles feature the broken twill denim, original tobacco stitching and all seven iconic Wrangler design details: rope logo button, flat rivets, deep watch pocket, downward-facing seams above the back pocket, “W” stitching, “W” patch, and seven belt loops.
According to wrangler: “Like its predecessor, this jean sits above the waist, and is updated with a slimmer kick that’s more streamlined over boots. The look is just as versatile and easy today as it was for the mid-century rodeo stars who originally wore it.”
