Emma Grede and Khloe Kardashian’s denim empire, Good American, has launched a new cut especially for the curvier among us. It’s called Good Curve, and it comes in three blue washes and one black, plus two silhouettes: skinny and slightly flared.
The new style features a higher waistband and an extra interior lining to help smooth the front. What the brand calls “perky” back pockets are meant to lift your butt.
On top of all that, Good Curve comes in size 15, which was never really a size before. Why make a new size?
The folks at Good American noticed a disproportionate number of returns on sizes 14 and 16, so they investigated. What they discovered was a greater jump between size 14 and 16 than any other size—because that’s where the pattern transitions from regular sizing to “plus” sizing. They spent a year perfecting a bridge for this gap, and finally have released what they’re calling size 15. Pretty thoughtful designing right there, wouldn’t you say?
