Of course in our minds, denim never went anywhere. But apparently, despite our enthusiasm, denim sales have slumped over the past decade while stretchy pants have soared in popularity.
But the tides are turning, with Levi’s, J. Crew and Madewell posting record sales last year. Ralph Lauren is riding the tide by investing heavily in denim this year, recruiting the majority of the Kardashian clan for an ad campaign. Even Khloe, who has her own denim brand (Good American) is in on the act.
