With Fashion Week coming here in New York, quite a few of us are closet-deep in outfit planning and trying to rustle up ways to look our best – without dying of discomfort. Sounds a little like Back to School, right? In either case, enter what’s sure to be a Fall essential: the LDD.
Like its fancier older sister, Little Black, there’s a Little Denim Dress to suit every figure, budget and style. But Little Denim’s arguably a better investment; after all, being comfortable AND hard-working is in her … jeans.
Investing in a denim dress means you have a piece that works for school, work and into evening. Dress it down with a cardigan and boots or up with a black jacket and platform heel. Many are practically wrinkle-proof, which makes them perfect for days where you’re running to and fro and don’t have time to change before cocktails.
Here are four great denim dresses to get you started:
1. Pray for Mother Nature Cuts Like A Knife Denim Dress ($216)
2. Rebecca Taylor Quilted Denim Dress ($227.50 – 30% off)
3. Club Monaco Sabrina Scoop Neck Denim Dress ($189)
4. Marc by Marc Jacobs Lightweight Denim Dress ($298)
Will you be stocking up on denim dresses for the Fall?

I love this trend and totally rocked a vintage denim dress last week, check it out on my blog! I appreciate your styling inspiration ideas, I need all the help I can get.
I’ve always thought of my denim dress as a summer style, but the cardi/boots idea is gold.
I LOVE the tiered Pray For Mother Nature dress! I think I need to go find an old denim jumpsuit lying in my closet and turn it into a dress!
Totally wishing I’d let my mum get me a denim dress for my birthday now – for some reason I talked her out of it!! Silly silly me!!
