Denim Remix: Jeans + A Sweatshirt 4 Ways

When I was in high school and college, I owned so many hooded, embroidered and screen-printed sweatshirts they took up at least half my closet ( I blame the sports teams and sorority for this). I wore them to class, to sporting events, to bed, to the grocery store – you name it. Once I was done with schooling however, I couldn’t bring myself to wear all these baggy, casual and remarkably comfortable pull-overs ever again.

Over here at the ESD headquarters, our manifesto is all about thinking beyond your standard jeans and tee shirt. What fun would it be if I wore nothing but basics all the time? Not much fun, in life or on this blog! However, there’s something to be said for embracing the classics, and putting your own twist on them.

Here are 4 ways to re-think this comfortable combination, from sporty to a little dressy to a seriously 70’s throw back:

A little edgeCurrent/Elliott Boa Prink Ankle Skinny Jean + Wildfox Gidget Skeleton Heart Sweatshirt

I urge you to think outside the box when it comes to these two American classics. The possibilities are endless and the combinations are so numerous I can’t even comprehend it.

Do you ever rock a sweatshirt and jeans in a fresh way?
