Wearing: Light Gray Jeans

jbrand skinny jeans

When I reviewed the JBrand skinny jeans in Sliverlake, I wasn’t sure if I would keep them. I returned them for a smaller size, and when I tried them on, it was just love. Honestly, I’ve been meaning to ween myself off gray for some time, but I think in moderation, gray is the perfect color. Particularly in summer, when white jeans, god bless them, seem a little bit daunting. Admittedly, I don’t own a pair of white jeans (yet) so the pale gray is a great alternative for sunny summer days. Particularly where I live (and you might be able to see the wind in the photos… it’s not so hot here).

These days I’ve been all about muted colors. I feel that they are easy to work with, and easy to mix up. I’ve been living in these light gray skinny jeans for the last few weeks. I love how comfortable they are, and how they go with just about anything… heels or flip flops (don’t worry, I have a cute pair). I even went to a baseball game in these jeans.

I feel the same way about a pair I own as well! Your are really cute and that sweater is beautiful!

i’d given up on jbrand because, even though they fit better than most, i still had that gap at the waist & had to have every pair taken in. but the grey looks greart – i might have to go try them on. but if you’re looking for a good pair of white, try jcrew’s matchstick jeans – it’s pretty much the only style i wear now – no hemming and no taking in at the waist!

I love you in your grey jeans! They look amazing and are totally a staple. The picture of the wind blowing your hair is perfection. ps – Rebecca Taylor was thinking of you when that sweater was designed.

I have grey skinnies from M+O and love them – they’re borderline jegging. Wear them a ton…but also have wide-leg and straight-leg white. The white wide-leg is a little daunting but I hauled them out for a nautical post last week and people loved them! Not sure if you saw:

Those jeans look great on you! I think I need to get myself a gray pair.

I love your grey denim. I think they look great on you and it looks like Rebecca Taylor designed that sweater with you in mind.

I have a pair of grey skinnies from M+O – almost like jeggings – love them to pieces, so can completely understand your stance. I do, however, also have wide-leg and straight-leg white denim. They can be a force to be reckoned with, but I used the wide-legs in a nautical post last week (not sure if you caught) and people loved them! So I guess I need not second guess myself?

Here it is j.i.c. you want to give it a look:

I have a pair of black Lee jeans that are so worn now I’d call them slate. I love them and more so than any blue pair I’ve ever had.
I had white jeans. White as white. Honestly, they’re not that great. They show every single thing you bump into, every splash around the ankles, every spot where you’ve patted your hand. And they glow. Honest. You can’t be missed coming down the street. And, they’re not easy to team things with. People will say I’m daft, but the damn things almost require a complete wardrobe reshuffle. I gave up. Not for me.
