‘Tis The Season: Denim Shorts Report

Do you feel that? The warm breeze, tickling your ankles? It’s telling you that summer’s coming – slowly, surely, and with all kinds of glorious, breezy, leg-baring weather. While at the moment, the days for shorts may be scant, I find it’s always best to be prepared.

On that note, lets talk about shorts. Glorious, casual, comfortable and amazing denim shorts. Premium denim brands are following the same trends of spring denim (florals, pastels, neon) into summer, in relaxed boyfriend cuts, cuffed styles and cheeky cut-offs, too. I have a hard time throwing down a lot of money for shorts, since obviously there’s just so much less fabric involved. Therefor, I tried to round up some denim shorts that are all under $150, some under $100! As a fit note, I always size up in shorts because I prefer a more relaxed fit.

These are all so cute! I’ve kept my denim shorts around all year because I’ve been occasionally wearing them with tights. But this spring and summer I’m looking forward to investing in some printed pairs! Target actually has some really cute floral ones… I haven’t tried them on yet but they look adorable and I think they’re only like $19 so that’ll probably be a winner for me!

Really enjoyed the article! Great pictures, and thanks for promoting the amazing denim short. And yes, they CAN be worn all year long, with the necessary ‘socks’.
