With all the hype around the J Brand Houlihan’s I do see a lot of women wearing the Lovestory style almost as often. One of my favorite things about the Lovestory, is the classic trouser silhouette, especially worn with a tweed blazer and a feminine top. It kind of reminded me of something Love Maegan would wear. It’s the easy effortless chic that just works. Now, what more can you ask for out of a love story than something that works?

I love that outfit!! She looks so tall
I’m really short… Only 5′foot.. Do you think this style will look funny on me? The love story with a loose Feminine top…
Oh yeah, I do think you can pull it off, it really depends on the proportions, but the lovestory makes you look taller and thinner, they’re great. As for the blouse, if paired with a blazer (the solution to many a fashion problem) it’ll totally work.
I recently just pulled out my wide leg trousers and fell in love all over again! (see outfit here: http://ordinarilyurbane.com/2010/09/17/yellow-navajo/ ) And, Thu, I’m short too so I just wear them with a tall pair of wedges! I love the silhouette and feel so super ladylike in them. I’ll never give up my skinnies though
The Lovestory is so classic! No wonder they sold out on Gilt Groupe in like two seconds this morning. It’s pretty far away from my usual jeans silhouette, but I am still so curious to give them a spin!
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it
I’m going to try it now! hehe!
this cut is so beautiful..I wish I could be tall and thin enough. (especially thin!!). I’ve bought a pair two years ago from Zara and it was a really bad experience.
