Lovelies wearing denim shorts….

For the second post in shorts week, we take a look at some of the other ways ladies wear denim shorts. Shorts are tough, I don’t want to put it in the same category as bathing suits, but they come pretty close. I’ve found in my day to day life that shorts are completely doable in a very non-trashy way. Take above for example, the lovely FashionVibe who wears simple denim shorts with a light wash and classic tee, with an added button up lace-detailed shirt and wedge booties to dress it up. Gorgeous.

Here is the lovely Nadia from Electric Dreamer who is wearing a loser fit denim short with the polka dot tights… a staple in even my wardrobe, and yes, I think they do look even better with a run or two in them.

Finally, if bare legs can’t work for you (either due to weather or fear of scaring children) and transparent tights can’t either, there is also the basic black tights and shorts. I’ve found myself wearing this more often mostly because it’s too breezy in my part of the world for bare legs or even transparent tights. dram of glam does a wonderful job of wearing tights with shorts, I quite like the high waisted cuffed denim short too. Something says I need to get a pair soon.
