I have a hard time with pink. First off, as a mother, I spend a lot of time looking for clothes for my boy, and therefore see a lot of girls clothes and there is an awful lot of pink. While most my friends with girls try to keep the pink to a minimum, it’s hard to not make that association of pink and childhood. Even though I myself was more of a purple and turquoise girl. Anyway, while colored jeans seem to be petering out, one color is surviving, and that’s pink.

The past few years pastels have gone from a seasonal hue to seasonless, you can wear pink in the spring as well as the fall, what’s more, you can mix it into your wardrobe without looking like a 10 year old, or tween wannabe.  The pinks this year are muted, almost like a neutral, and can be worn as such. Paired with a chambray shirt or a grey teeshirt, you can wear your pink jeans casually, or make a statement and wear head to toe pink. Even a white tee and pink jeans with a pair of black ankle boots is an easy look to pull off. What’s more, you probably already have most of the pink pairings already just waiting for the pink jeans!
