Denim Style on Lafayette St

Impeccable style while donning denim has never looked easier. In the streets, this lady was easily spotted even in her neutral tones. What caught my eye, besides the Hermes bag, was her Junya Watanabe boots; but then noticing the denim, which happened to be by Urban Outfitters, made it even better for our personal st style aesthetic. Pairing high with low price points in an instance like this seemed right.

Again, notice the light wash that’s been a reoccurring topic in our posts as of late. I particularly love this color because it’s a crisp blue with white undertones. Sometimes, if a wash is to light or the material just isn’t perfect the jean can turn out to be unflattering, but that’s not the case for these. This light wash still gives off a long and lean silhouette. After all, it’s all about the fit when it comes to denim.

What’s your go to pair of denim for a flattering fit?

Camels, tans and taupes and such neutrals always work so very well with the classic blue denim. My go-to pair is not very tight skinnies but these days, I’ve taken out of hiding my not-so-wide flared denim too.

And right now, although I’m wearing this denim skirt, the thought on my mind is “There’s nothing as comfortable as an old pair of jeans!”

I have shorts with the same wash. They look great with a graphic tee or tank. (My mind is already thinking summer)…
