Denim on The Streets at Milan Fashion Week: Safe & Chic

Usually at fashion week, that’s when people really take their sartorial chances. We saw a bit of calming down this season in New York and London as compared to previous years, but Milan? They cooled it down to weekend wear. Ok, casual Friday wear. Don’t get me wrong, everything here looks amazing and chic, and I would totally wear (almost) everything here. I guess that’s just the point, I am pretty safe when it comes to style, and so was the denim I saw coming in from the streets this year. It takes a safe dresser to know a safe dresser. A blazer and skinny jeans? My uniform for the last six years (and before that was a blazer and boot cut jeans).  So here we go, maybe people just got tired in Milan, or maybe it’s the canary in the coal mine and we’re about to get a lot more casual.

Except for the Moschino top, sign me the heck up. Is it just me or is this kinda refreshing?

Ugh, how are they all so amazingly good looking?!! Love the casual vibe. Right up my alley.
