A Tale of Two Denim Styles at Paris Fashion Week

This season at Paris Fashion Week, it was a tale of two denims. Dressed way, way down, “effortless” and over the top, “a lot of effort” jeans. Simple plaid shirts paired with trusty jeans or an unstructured trench with huge cut-out squares in your jeans. Or an abstract painting, or over distressed. Paris does effortless chic like no place else in the world. Somehow, skinny jeans and stilettos still fly which gives hope to those of us who still love our skinny jeans. (I’m wearing a pair today, thank you ver much). One thing is for certain though in Paris it’s all about the high waist jeans. Which is good, because who likes muffin top?
