Since Tory Burch re-launched their new denim line, I’ve been curious about it. Actually, I’m always curious when a fashion designer crosses over into premium denim. When they sent me this pair of Metallic Brushed Legging Jeans I was curious about them for now two reasons, as they have painted detailing and I’m new to novelty denim. I’ve had them for about a month, and have got some decent wears. They hold up really well, no saggy bottom, the fit is comfortable, the denim lightweight and stretchy, and the wash has a lot of depth to them. The only thing I’m curious about is the fit, as they are a legging jean, they fit more like a straight leg. Or maybe I got a size up? Oh dear, one day I’ll figure out the sizing thing, and not get the size too big. But hey, they’re comfortable.
Because of the painted details the care instructions are a bit more complicated than normal jeans. These require dry cleaning, or handwashing. I’m going to test out the ‘freeze clean’ a method of killing the bacteria by freezing your jeans. I’m not sure if it’s going to work, which is why I’m going to report to you next week.
Another thing I liked about these jeans was the pretty hardware on the buttons. Usually I like minimal branding, but the T buttons really work and add something special.

I usually stray away from painted jeans because of the special cleaning needs. That freeze clean method sounds intriguing – curious to know about your experience!
The pair suits you so well!
i’m curious about the maker of your gorgeous blouse. love those cut-outs!
i really like the metallic down the leg. not too much, almost a studded effect. and those boots!!! want them even more now that i see how they look with a straight leg jean!
xo! your blogs are so fun to follow. curious where you bought the bag you are carrying on the photo shoot posted at ciao, chessa! today. thanks 🙂

LOVELY. you look SO NYC in this one 🙂 and gorgeous to boot.
PS – speaking of “boots”, which Aldo did you get those boots? the one on Broadway in SoHo? Im going to pick those up this weekend – I was daunted by the chunky heel – not usually my style but I think if Im going to walk around in Brooklyn in heels, I’ll need the stability.
i’ve never been a fan of shimmer on jeans, but these might have changed my mind. i think the fit looks great. i’m tempted to paint my own jeans now…wonder how that might turn out. probably not so good!
I love the casual yet stylish look. Thanks for sharing the photos and feel free to visit me too when you have time.
Cheers.
