Ho! Ho! Ho! ESD readers! It’s Christmas Eve eve and I am as kiddy as a little kid. I love this time of year, and the anticipation of a wonderful holiday of feasting and gift-giving and spending time with family is all that’s on my mind. Oh, and of course the age-old question, “What jeans should I wear to Christmas brunch at Grandma’s house?” No, seriously. We go over there every year for breakfast casserole, presents, gin fizz cocktails and time with my whole extended family. It’s casual, cozy and the perfect occasion for some festive denim.
You know I love a good skinny jean, and these Rag & Bone ‘The Skinny Jean’ in Kelly Green are no exception. They meet my requirement for hitting right at the sweet spot between my ankle and foot, have a flattering not-squeezing-the-bottom-of-your-leg-to-death opening that looks great with flats and skimmers. I also love how rich and vibrant the color is, it’s definitely one that will continue to be perfect into the warmer months (with pastels, can’t you picture it?). They’re a no-fuss jean with standard 5-pocket styling and an easy mid-rise waist.
For added comfort and warmth while sitting on the ground, tearing open presents, why not get on board with this “just wear your blanket” trend?
And don’t think I forgot about my darling Jewish readers! I know festively colored jeans can seem like a bit of a tacky thing, but with these Kelly green jeans or the ‘Paige Blue’ Verdugo skinny jeans, you can acknowledge the holidays and still look chic.
What do you usually wear to your casual holiday get-togethers?
