Chip Foster formerly of Chip and Pepper has launched the second season of Pray for Mother Nature. As corporate sponsors of Heal the Bay, a non-profit environmental group working to restore the Santa Monica Bay, this collection’s pieces styles and washes are named after landmarks, beaches and tress of California: Big Sur (flare pant) in El Matador (a medium washed denim). As a big fan of the California landscape, I’m excited to see this homage. Also, looking forward to days where I can wear a denim dress! Maybe that will just mean going to California. That’ll make Mom a very happy lady. I love the variations in this collection, the ruffled denim skirt, the pale gray flares, and the skinny jeans. Honestly, my eyes are on the long denim skirt and the dress as essential wardrobe staples this spring and summer!

Oh man, I LOVE that assymmetrical skirt. While I’m not sure about the styling of the image (half nude with a headdress, c’mon), the skirt is fabulous. I wonder if there’s a way to make it look as good on a bigger body…
I really like both of the skinny jeans in the last photo.
